About OpSecWallet
OpSecWallet is an independent research publication covering the crypto wallet security ecosystem: phishing and drainer attacks, address poisoning, malicious contract approvals, seed phrase and private key management, and the safe operation of TRON and other major chains. Every report is written from public data and official security disclosures, cross-checked against primary sources, and reviewed before publication.
What We Publish
- Weekly Safety Review — a curated, verified summary of the 10–15 most important wallet security incidents each week.
- Weekly Data Report — weekly incident counts, loss totals, attack-type distribution and week-over-week comparison.
- Weekly Safety Intelligence — a structured briefing answering five fixed questions on threats, losses, scams, operations and outlook.
- Market Intelligence — the security-tool landscape, hardware-wallet tiers, operation costs and a monthly market report.
- Weekly Deep Dive — long-form research on one major wallet security story each week.
- Safety Guides — evergreen hands-on guides and checklists: approval revocation, transfer verification, tool walkthroughs.
Methodology & Editorial Standards
Every report is compiled from a curated source whitelist: security-firm disclosures (SlowMist, PeckShield, Salus, ScamSniffer, Blockaid), wallet-vendor official channels, public blockchain data and mainstream industry media. Unconfirmed incidents are labelled as such. We cross-check figures where possible and label estimated or reference values.
We do not accept payment for coverage. We never ask readers for seed phrases, private keys or transfers. Last reviewed: 2026-08-28.
